Boarding
Our boarding service is available to cats, dogs and some exotics.
Generally we reserve boarding for our clients only and space may be limited
(especially over holidays and in summer). Cats can be housed in a separate area
than the dogs for a quieter environment. Each animal receives 3-4 walks a day,
their own food and water bowl and any toys or blankets brought with them when
dropped off, or ones we provide for them. Large dog runs are available for
larger dogs. All animals boarding are required to be up to date on vaccinations.
Dentistry
Dental procedures are extremely important for the health of your
pet. Dental infections can be painful as well as harmful to your pet's health.
Dental Procedures are performed under general anesthesia and are monitored by a
technician. Teeth are cleaned using an ultra sonic scaler then polished and
given a fluoride treatment.

Laboratory
Laboratory testing can be critically important in the diagnosis
of a pet's condition. Tests can be performed on blood, urine, feces, and can
include needle aspirates, ear swabs, and skin scrapings. With our extensive lab
facility many of these tests can be performed in the hospital which cuts down on
the wait time for results. We also have comprehensive additional testing that is
sent out to our lab for results.
Bathing & Grooming
Our bathing and grooming facility is open Monday through
Saturday by appointment. A full groom involves a cleansing bath, nail trim, ear
cleaning, anal gland expression, brushing and any clipping desired. We use only
quality shampoos and conditioners, which are also available for sale. Medicated
baths are available as needed. We do require animals staying with us for
grooming to be current on vaccinations.
Laser Surgery
A CO2 laser is available for certain surgical procedures. The
use of the laser generally reduces pain, bleeding and post operative recovery
time. (Declaw procedures and small wart removals are ideal candidates for a
laser surgery). Laser surgery is the least dramatic process for declaws and it
has the quickest recovery time.
MRI
Our doctors have access to an MRI if necessary to diagnose a pets
disorder. More diagnostics are possible with the use of an MRI.
X-Rays
Radiographs or X-rays are used as an important diagnostic technique
for the doctors. Generally the animals are awake for the X-rays, although
occasionally sedation may be required.

Flea Preventatives
We offer a wide range of flea products for both your pet
and their environment, including the once monthly Frontline or Advantage Our
staff can help you choose the most appropriate products for your situation.
Nutritional Counseling
We offer a selection of high quality diets for your
pet. Our doctors and staff can assist you in making an appropriate diet
selection for your pet. Most prescription diets can be ordered if we do not
routinely carry that product.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a painless, non-invasive diagnostic tool. We
can use our ultrasound machine to image both the heart and abdominal organs.
This technology is used to view the "inside" of organs and is helpful as
an adjunct to radiographs.

disorder. More diagnostics are possible with the use of an MRI.
