ACCESSIBILITY

Boarding

We do provide boarding as a service. To ensure the safety of all pets, we require all pets to have an exam each time they come in for boarding. We only charge for one exam but we examine your pet multiple times during their stay with us. We also do an exam before they go home, because of this exit exam all pets are able to go home after 10:00am on their departure date.

We also require all vaccinations to be current. If your pet was vaccinated with another facility we do require proof. We require vaccinations to be given by a veterinarian. All of our vaccination requirements are listed in the general pet care area.

We walk the dogs 4 to 5 times a day. We give each cat exercise time individually each day. Medications are dispensed as needed and charged by the number of treatments a day. Please bring your pets medication at the time of check in, if needed a new prescription will be dispensed. Also if your dog or cat is on a specific diet or has a sensitive stomach please bring in their own food. We recommend you bring your pets food with them to board to prevent upsetting their digestive system with a diet change.

Please download our boarding form and bring it in with you when you drop off your pet.

Boarding specifications

  • Bedding – We prefer that pet beds are left at home. Because some pets resort to chewing bed stuffing when suffering from separation anxiety and pet beds can carry fleas, we request that you leave your pet’s bed at home. For comfort, we do provide beds and blankets during your pet’s stay.

  • Feeding – Pets will be fed 2-3 times per day depending on your specifications. We recommend you bring your pets food with them to board to prevent upsetting their digestive system with a diet change. Fresh water is constantly available to pets.

  • Medications – If your pet needs medication(s) administered, please let our staff know upon scheduling your stay, and we will inform you if any additional charges are required.

  • Toys – You are allowed to bring pet toys with you for your pet’s stay and we encourage it! To prevent confusion, we ask that you write your last name on each toy so at the end of your pet’s stay the toys can be returned to the correct owner.

  • Vaccinations – All pets are required to have up-to-date vaccinations. If your pet needs booster shots, they must be administered at least 3 days prior to staying at our facility. Our veterinarian can administer the vaccination if you let us know when scheduling your pet’s boarding that vaccination is necessary.

If you have any further questions about boarding your pet with us, or to schedule a stay, please contact our office.
